John LynchAcademic Technology Manager
John Lynch is CDH’s lead for digital project planning and implementation. He is a retired archaeologist, with a BA and MA in Classics from Loyola Marymount University and UCSB, respectively, and a PhD in Assyriology (Near Eastern Languages and Cultures) from UCLA. As a grad student, he worked on CDH’s instructional technology team for three years, and was excited to be able to return as a career staff member in 2010. He now coordinates all faculty-led projects and all custom programming at CDH.
What is at the top of your bucket list?
Hiking hut-to- hut in the Alps.
At which store would you like to max-out your credit card? Any chocolate shop.
What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?
I write ghost stories and brew hard apple cider in my garage.
